Emergency intervention in Le Havre: on-site radio programming for the Art Explora festival
Preparing for a large-scale cultural event leaves no room for technical surprises. Contacted at the last minute for the traveling festival Art Explora in Le Havre, TRPS immediately went to the site to configure the organization's entire fleet of Motorola R2 portable radios. This express reconfiguration ensured fluid, clear, and channel-sectorized communication, securing coordination for organizers and technicians from setup through to the end of the event.
On-site responsiveness and last-minute intervention
Faced with a critical, last-minute need for reconfiguration, TRPS deployed its programming tools directly into the heart of the festival infrastructure. The ability to intervene on-site in an emergency allows for the immediate resolution of frequency incompatibilities or a lack of dedicated channels. Thanks to our mastery of Motorola Solutions programming software, each R2 radio was reset and reassigned according to the communication plan required by the general management team.
Channel sectorization to streamline setup and event management
On a site bringing together many different trades (scenography, sound and lighting, guest services, security), network saturation hinders overall responsiveness. The programming performed on the Motorola R2 radios made it possible to create distinct, isolated channels for each activity area. Stage managers, technicians, and guest service teams were able to communicate without interfering with emergency channels, maintaining total synergy throughout the setup and the event's opening to the public.
Motorola R2 technical expertise for temporary structures
The Motorola R2 walkie-talkie is a professional portable radio known for its robust coverage and audio clarity in complex environments. Technical intervention on this model allowed us to fully leverage its noise-cancellation and sectorization capabilities. The installation of canvas and metal structures required precise frequency tuning to ensure a stable and consistent signal across the entire Le Havre event zone.
