Event security: 30 portable radios deployed at the Ouest Park Festival in Le Havre
At the heart of a music festival hosting several thousand spectators, the responsiveness of security agents determines the overall safety of the site. For the second consecutive year, the company HD Security has renewed its trust in TRPS during the Ouest Park Festival in Le Havre. To manage this major event, we provided a comprehensive short-term rental solution including 30 Motorola XT420 portable radios and 30 professional earpieces, ensuring constant communication between screening stations, patrols, and the Security Control Center.
A renewed partnership with HD Security for Ouest Park security
The trust placed in us by private security professionals is based on the absolute reliability of the equipment provided during previous editions. By renewing the setup deployed for HD Security at the Ouest Park Festival, TRPS confirms its ability to meet the logistical requirements of major cultural events in Le Havre. The scale of the fleet allows for coverage of the entire Fort de Tourneville site, ensuring seamless coordination from the moment the gates open until the public departs.
30 Motorola XT420 portable radios and 30 earpieces to handle high noise levels
Managing radio communications within a music festival presents a significant technical challenge due to the acoustic power of the stages. The choice fell on the Motorola XT420, a robust model from the license-free PMR446 range, recognized for the power of its speaker and its durability in the field. The systematic addition of 30 professional ear-hook earpieces with PTT (Push-To-Talk) microphones proved essential: this accessory allows agents to hear every radio message immediately despite the loud ambient noise, while performing their checks discreetly.
Permanent link between access screening and the Security Control Center
The distribution of channels across the radio fleet allowed for the optimal organization of the chain of command. Teams in charge of entrance screening, ticket control, perimeter patrols, and artist flow management had a direct channel to the Security Control Center. This effective sectorization prevented frequency saturation while ensuring very short response times whenever intervention was needed on site.
